While I've been struggling programmaing media logistics systems for Windows .NET (there got to be a better way), Edwin R. Leonard (DreamWorks) wins an Annie Award for promoting Linux in animation.
Linux has been used for animation at ILM and DreamWorks since the 90:s . So there IS a god way to develop media solutions after all.
It's a good day whenever someone gets recognition for doing something the right way .
