Over the years I have published links to a substantial number of news articles on our deteriorating environment, and especially the state of the Baltic Sea.
The collection of links put forward a picture that isn't pretty. One can start to see a pattern that the environment is damaging our children which should ring alarm bells among scout leaders. Instead, over the years I have often received comments from fellow scouts that progressive (in their view) environmental issues shouldn't be pursued within our movement. I think they are very mistaken, and I therefore want to let Sylvia Earle put forward her award winning T.E.D. talk for you on why the seas matter and why it is urgent. Maybe we should have Our Life Support System as theme for the next World Thinking Day?
Original content picked up on the great Presentation Zen blog.
