Scouting Sunrise

All round the world and here in Vässarö, Sweden, at sunrise scouts swore the scout oath marking the beginning of the next 100 years of scouting on our beloved planet.

Scouting started 100 years ago in the morning when the boys assembled by Lord Baden Powell of Gillwell asked them to swore the scout oath. After they had done it, he gave them their scarfs to mark that they were now scouts. To this day, the scarf is the symbol of being a scout.

Scouts out there.

Be Prepared.
