Handicaped on the ropeway - 1
Today we had no ordinary trapper trail, but we had an unusual task. We had a wheel chair bound scout that wanted to try the rope way at the end of the trail. How hard can it be? He had strong arms and friends who knew how to transport him over uneven ground, so we took a boat and some climbing equipment and set out for the rope way. By using standard methods for climbing walls, we secured the handicapped boy and that was enough, it turned out he could pull himself up using arm strength. What on paper looked like a difficult mission turned out to be an easy and fun expedition.
